Give a chip to a Mammy’s boy

Some friends of mine have just opened a chip shop in St. Kilda, Melbourne. It’s called Mammy’s Boy, after those loveable Irish layabouts, and they sell everything from burgers to beers, from fish to soft-serve, and chips, usually slathered in some kind of amazing sauce.
They asked me to design a clean and minimalist logo for them. We went through several iterations, as can be seen below, but the simplicity of what was to be the final logo, shone through.
I also created a website (archive view from 2016) and helped with the signage around the restaurant.
